How do teachers get involved?

� Normally, teachers attend SDA training days held at regional venues during June and July each year. For details of 2006 training days, see News and Events

� At training days, teachers are introduced to the scheme, its administration, activities and concepts relating to sustainability, eco-design tools, design contexts and briefs and assessment.

� At the end of a training day, teachers can choose to enrol their school as an SDA school, in which case they will receive an SDA Teachers� Handbook.

� They can then register their students for the Award, usually during the Autumn term for A2 level and the spring term for AS level.
